MEET OUR DOCTOR

Dr. Aaron Rode Owner/Veterinarian

Dr. Rode grew up on a family ranch in Llano, Texas, and graduated from Texas A&M University with an undergraduate degree in construction science in 2004.  After working in the residential construction industry for seven years, he decided to follow his true passion and pursue a second career in Veterinary Medicine.  Dr. Rode graduated with a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Texas A&M University, College of Veterinary Medicine in 2017.  Although Dr. Rode found his true calling in vet med, his background in construction science has proven helpful during orthopedic surgeries!  Since receiving his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 2017, Dr. Rode has exclusively practiced in the Floresville/Wilson County area.

After working for eight years at the same local Wilson County hospital, Dr. Rode has decided to establish his own practice based on his values and passion.

Dr. Rode and his wife Agatha moved to the Adkins/LaVernia area in 2018, and have made this community their home ever since.  They have enjoyed raising their three children in the area, and are excited to establish a family-owned business in the community.  The Rodes round out their rambunctious crew with two labrador retrievers—Cash and Scout; three cats—Smokey, Tar, and Coal; and fourteen free range chickens.  Dr. Rode looks forward to providing exceptional care for patients, large and small, while creating long-lasting relationships with their owners.
